My earliest memories are of me tinkering. Taking whatever I could get my hands on apart, learning how they work. I've always prided myself on being able to problem-solve with the tools I have around me.
While I love my other passions, this field challenges me to do things I never thought possible. I've found myself faced with obstacles and just like with engineering, I've had to innovate and overcome. Being an Engineer has allowed me to accomplish great things, from being a co-captain, Electrical/Programming lead, and head driver of my FRC robotics team to winning the Drexel Liberty Scholarship which pays my full tuition for all 5 years of my degree.
I'm not sure where life will take me, but I am positive that Engineering and my other passions will always be a part of what I do.

During my second co-op, I worked as a Software Developer and DevOps Engineer on the MMA team at SIG. This role was a boon for my progression as a developer. From planning to deployment, I was able to engineer solutions to software issues and requests for our business-critical applications. With over 30 applications to support, the environment was often fast-paced and I had to adapt quickly. That pressure was exactly what I needed as it exposed me to various CI/CD tools, the application development/deployment process, and what it is like to be a Site Reliability Engineer. Within six months, I had amassed experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Gitlab CI/CD, Ansible, Elasticsearch (ELK), MSSQL, OctopusDeploy, and much more.
During my first co-op term, I had the honor of working within the computing department of the illustrious Wharton School. I learned not only what it is like to work in IT but also what a healthy work environment looks like. Navigating hardware and software issues on dozens of devices along with learning how to work Wharton-specific specific systems was an experience I am grateful to have had.
I have been building computers since my freshman year of high school. It started with watching tech YouTubers like LinusTechTips and Austin Evans. Eventually, I became confident enough to build for myself and my friends. As my confidence grew, I branched out and began to build/fix computers for anyone within the communities around me. More than five years later, I'm still the person the people in my community look toward for tech support.
During the spring term of my freshman year, I led a team of my fellow engineers as we
co-designed, prototyped, and built an Arduino-powered status display for dorm residents.
This video was our final deliverable: shot and co-edited by me.
